The fourth day av Sweden Offroad Tour 4-20.7 2014 set a new record for temperatures this year with +28 degrees Celsius and once again glorious sun. The Swedish summer is here and so are SOT!
30 cars and some ATVs showed up at Blekinge Offroad Adventure Park with 10 kilometres of nice trails along a hillside down to the lake. Severel water passages and mud holes thanks to previous rain. 95 percent av the trails are easy and medium but with 5 percent of difficult obstacles.
Another Dutch Land Rover Defender showed up. And "the crasy danes" fixed tour leader Peter Öjerskogs Jeep Grand Cherokee 1995 when the electric front left side window went on strike. Thanks!
The lunch was delicous with freshly made bacon and hast potatoes with lingonberry and COLD drinks. Everybody sat at the food camp by the beautiful lake where you could borrow a canoe for free.
We have now put the photos from the firsts day on Photos on swedenoffroad.com . Another 1000 photos will be published after the tour. There are also some photos on our facebook-page.
Tomorrow Tuesday July 8 10 am we are driving on a former military area Bergunda 5 kilometres south west of Växjö. Just follow road 23 to Malmö and see our SOT signs. A large area with a myriad of offroadtrails and a free driving area. Lunch will be served. We ecpect over 50 vehicles on this popular offroad area with military class.
