The national colour for Holland is orange (Remember the World Cup in football?).
George van der Kolk from Holland has a Swedish family and lives in Skokloster outside Stockholm.
George really showed his colour at Sweden Offroad Tour Sandlycke-Strängnäs Monday July 14; orange Netherland-registrated Jeep CJ-7 1983, orange T-shirt, orange shoes and orange sun glasses. And he speaks perfect Swedish too.
Sandlycke is a classic popular offroad area. A two kilometres long open power line for free driving plus surrounding forest with trails. Two of the mud holes were so deep we hade to put out a warning of them.
Hans "Vältmeister" Neumann offered a orienteering drive for new comers in his unique Land Rover soft top with roll cage.A good service for our participants.
smac.nu served freshly grilled hamburgers and cold drinks, and they will do so tomorrow to.
Tuesday July 15 at 10 am we will drive Sweden Offfroud Tour Ekeby-Stockholm, by road 73, 30 kilometres south of the capital. A giant gravel pit with a huge slick rock granite mountain to climb. Plus forest trails, mud holes and technical obstacles.
And our Chinese-American visitor will come. The tour leader will fetch him at a hotel in Stockholm in the morning. Mr Ray will study Swedish offroading and maybe develop offroading in China, the world's largest market with 1,3 billion inhabitants.
And finally we got new Traktor Power magazines to give out and nice stuff from Rindab for our lottery; Rindab/Warn T-shirts, college shirts, straps, etcetera. We will have the lottery at the driver's meeting at 10 am.
