We are lucky with the weather so far - it is perfect for offroading.
Today Monday July 11 at Sweden Offroad Tour Boasjö-Karlskrona the temperature reached 23 degrees Celsius, "warmest" so far on SOT 2016, Sunny all day and heavy rain during the night before.
The rain made the trails perfect slippery and difficult, they tend to be to easy if dry.
Over 20 cars and two ATV from Denmark took part, Well, Monday and Karlskrona in the south east end of Sweden...
The lunch was a treat as usual; hash potatoe, bacon and lingonberry jam, very Swedish! We sat in the camp by the beautiful lake enjoying the view. Sweden at its best!
2 PM there was the traditional culture tour for an hour in the surroundings. Driving along the Nättraby creek on and old railroad bank, straight as an arrow and looking at the two giant boulders moved by the ice age.
Tour leader Peter Öjerskog could take his first dip in a lake on SOT 2016. Sun and 23 degrees - almost like summer!
Tomorrow Tuesday July 12 will be a great day. We drive SOT Bergunda-Växjö at the former military offroad area with a myriad of trails and free driving are! Expect a lot of 4x4 cars, ATV and UTV!
Our blue/yellow SOT-shirts are selling like hot cakes. Make sure to grab one! We also got new ATV-QUAD magazines for tomorrow!
