There were lots of records on 28:th Sweden Offroad Tour 7-23.7 2023, led by Frida. Half of the 17 SOT places set new participants records, especially in Skåne and Dalarna. Most vehicles had SOT Sågbacken-Hästveda with 91 cars, and then ATV were not even allowed. Unfortunately we lost two of our most popular SOT places: SOT Olerum-Söderköping because of too little rain = fire danger, and SOT Gröndal-Eskilstuna because the local authority wants to protect the ancient graves in the terrain, no offroad driving within 100 metres radius which stops SOT and all other 4×4 meetings. There will hopefully be a 29:th Sweden Offroad Tour 2024. But tour owner Peter Öjerskog must know when he gets his driving license back before setting dates/places.
