The sandy terrain offers a unique offroad experience, as you don’t have to worry about getting stuck on sharp rocks or tree stumps, making it highly recommended for beginners. But don’t be mistaken — dry sand can be challenging to drive in and feels very different from the forest trails that make up most of Sweden’s offroad areas.

The area features a variety of sand slopes, from short to long, gentle to steep, and even really steep inclines. It will be a day to remember if you’re not already comfortable with heights and tilt. For ATV and UTV drivers, it’s an absolute paradise and a must-visit destination.

Driving takes place on the designated trails and in the open sand areas. No driving is allowed off-trail in the forest, as young trees (saplings) may be hidden by tall grass. Please also note that there is a slope near the starting area where a protected species of swallow nests — driving or climbing on this slope is prohibited. You can easily spot where the birds are nesting by looking for the horizontal line in the sand that marks their nests.
